Junior AI & Product Specialist
📍 Turin | 🏡 Hybrid working | ⏱️ Full-time
Building a sustainable future, together.
At WSP, we design the future of our communities. As one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms, we bring together expertise across transport and infrastructure, buildings, energy, environment, water and advisory. Across Central Europe, we combine local knowledge with international reach to deliver projects that create a positive, lasting impact for clients, communities and the environment.
We are growing our Digital Innovation team and are looking for a Junior AI Adoption & Product Specialist based in Turin to help us shape what comes next.
The opportunity
In this role, you will contribute to digital and AI-related projects that require curiosity, collaboration and a practical, future-ready mindset. You will help internal teams identify meaningful AI use cases, adopt new tools and deliver solutions in collaboration with technical specialists across Italy and WSP’s global network.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by digital transformation, comfortable working with different stakeholders and eager to build their career in an international consulting environment.
How you will make an impact
Support the coordination of digital and AI-related projects, helping to organise activities, priorities, dependencies and stakeholders in line with Agile ways of working.
Work closely with the Resource Leader, project managers, technical leads and business stakeholders to keep projects moving, follow up on actions and help remove blockers.
Contribute to AI adoption initiatives in Italy and internationally, supporting workshops, demos, feedback collection and communication around practical AI use cases.
Help business teams understand where AI can add value by gathering needs, clarifying processes, identifying potential benefits and supporting the definition of simple KPIs.
Support the management of AI products and digital solutions, including backlog updates, roadmap inputs, documentation, demos and functional validation activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams working across AI, data management, data science, GIS, application development and digital transformation.
Maintain a proactive, service-oriented approach in a consulting environment with both internal stakeholders and, over time, potential external client-facing initiatives.
The team around you
You will join WSP’s Digital Innovation team, a multidisciplinary group supporting the organisation’s digital transformation through AI, data management, GIS, application development, automation and emerging technologies.
The role reports to our Line Leader Data Engineering and will work closely with colleagues based mainly in Turin, with additional team members in Rome and a technical development team in India. Projects can involve stakeholders across Italy, Europe and other global regions, including the Americas, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the practical adoption of AI across the business while building experience in project coordination, product support and stakeholder engagement.
What you will bring to the role
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience that gives you the right foundation for this role.
Strong Italian and English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate clearly with local and international stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of Agile or Scrum ways of working, with a strong interest in project coordination and delivery support.
Curiosity and genuine interest in AI, digital transformation, data and emerging technologies.
Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
Problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn and comfort working in a consulting environment where priorities, stakeholders and projects can evolve quickly.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, AI tools, automation, data analytics, Azure DevOps, Jira or Planner would be an advantage, but deep technical development skills are not required.
Junior / Early Career
We do not expect you to know everything. We are looking for curiosity, motivation and willingness to learn. From day one, you will contribute to real projects, receive guidance from experienced professionals and progressively build your technical confidence.

When our people thrive, our projects thrive. At WSP, you will be supported to build your career, take on meaningful challenges and learn from talented professionals across a global network. We encourage flexibility, new ideas and growth in ways that reflect different career paths and ambitions.
