WSP’s Ankara Office is currently seeking a Geotechnical/Geological Engineer to join our team in Türkiye. The successful candidate will be involved in projects delivered by our Mining & Earth Sciences Services Team and will become part of a growing and collaborative organization.

THE ROLE:

• Geological and geotechnical logging of boreholes and test pits

• Performing in-situ tests and installing/monitoring borehole instrumentation

• Conducting televiewer surveys and interpreting associated data

• Supporting geotechnical investigation programs and related field activities

• Interacting constructively and professionally with contractors and project owners to address issues that may arise during investigation and site works

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong safety-first culture and awareness

• Commitment to ethical conduct, professional integrity, and compliance with WSP’s standards and values

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering (Geotechnical background is an advantage)

• 1-3 years of experience in geotechnical studies or related fieldwork

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong technical interpretation, writing, and reporting skills

• Ability to adapt to different site conditions and working environments

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and professional development

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Willingness to take initiative and make sound decisions within a junior role

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a valid Class B driving license

• SRC Certificate is an asset

• Willingness to travel and work on site

• Availability to work night shifts, when required
